Quarantine knocks down the time of breakfast, lunch and dinner. As a doctor, I advise you to develop not only a daily regimen, but also provide for the optimal time for meals (eat 4-5 times a day in small portions). Try not to use snacks, chips, and sweets as a snack. Use a healthy alternative: nuts, fruits, dried fruits, dark chocolate.

Eating right doesn’t mean eating too much or often. This means that the food must be fortified with vitamins and minerals, as well as proteins, carbohydrates and fats.

Quarantine & daily routine

I do not recommend the temptation to “sleep” in the morning. Morning time can be used for the benefit of the mind and body: do exercises, do yoga or meditation, pump up your abs or buttocks. Summer is coming and quarantine is a great opportunity to get in shape. I also advise you to avoid long night gatherings in front of the TV. Try to go to bed and wake up at the same time. If you stick to this rhythm, going to work after quarantine won’t feel like hell.

Self-isolation is not a reason to give up outdoor walks. Walking is a must, but avoid crowded places. Choose deserted places and breathe fresh air for at least half an hour a day. Oxygen improves digestion, activates the brain, saturates cells with oxygen, normalizes blood pressure and strengthens the immune system.
